AutoLink is a web-based Automobile Buying Program designed to enhance existing auto buying programs, or as a turnkey operation for credit unions without such an auto buying program. Members AutoLink on-line automobile buying service can be integrated into any credit union web site, giving the appearance of never leaving your credit union site. Members AutoLink can also help credit unions capture more direct vehicle financing before the member visits the dealership.

AutoLink’s Search Engine enables credit union members to shop local affiliated automobile dealer’s new and pre-owned inventory from your credit union web site. AutoLink will increase your web site and branch traffic, as credit union members only need to access your web site or visit their local branch to search for their next vehicle purchase. The increased traffic to your web site and branches will allow for greater cross-selling opportunities and prospect of capturing additional vehicle financing before the member visits the dealership.
AutoLink will utilize local dealers already associated with your credit unions indirect lending program and have agreed to Members AutoLink pricing terms and conditions
Credit union members who purchase a new vehicle will receive special credit union pricing starting at $100 over invoice on most vehicles. Some vehicles may sell for under invoice or due to limited availability may be a bit more or excluded from the program. Credit union members who purchase a pre-owned vehicle will receive a special credit union price of $500 under NADA retail price.
Special “Member Discount Coupons” will be made available to members through the credit union web site or at local branches. These coupons will be redeemable at affiliated dealers for either a new or preowned vehicle purchase.
On the credit union web site, when a member chooses “Search for Vehicle”, they will be taken to the Members AutoLink site to begin the vehicle search. Once the search has ended and the member has found the vehicle they wish to purchase, the member will be prompted to apply for financing through the credit union site from where the search began. Our search engine will only utilize franchise automotive dealers who have agreed to our pricing terms and conditions.
An aggressive marketing initiative through credit union member communications will direct members to utilize this service and increase web site and branch traffic. Additional benefits include increasing the volume of direct vehicle loans and cross selling opportunities such as extended warranties and GAP insurance. Marketing strategies for member communication should include monthly or quarterly newsletters, web site banners, branch marques, branch posters and brochures and special credit union member on or off site sales.
